Why we are here

“Live in each season as it passes – breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit” - Thoreau

My wife Meghan & I are delighted to be able to finally realize our little dream as a part of this vibrant community.  After years of developing, searching, sweating (& more than a little gnashing of teeth) we are truly thrilled that we could brush the dust off of this amazing little space & share our decades of culinary experience and our passion for great food with the discerning diners this neighborhood is known for.

We have worked hard since Feburary 14 2006 to bring the best local ingredients and put them on display in a comfortable, inviting atmoshphere and we have assembled a staff of fun and friendly people to help us prepare and share it with you.

You are the ultimate judges.  If we missed the mark or hit it dead on, please take a moment to let me, my sous chef Lauren or anyone on the staff know how we can best serve you, both today and in the future.

Thanks again - we are all looking forward to a long and savory relationship,

Theo & Meghan Gilbert & staff

What we do

We are proud to use the freshest local and sustainably grown ingredients, the best of which we will professionally craft each day into great things to eat.

Due to the artisanal and seasonal nature of the products we offer, many of which are hand-crafted and delivered to our door by the farmers themselves, there will be some items on our menu that will only be offered in very limited quantities.

We appreciate your understanding and we guarantee that our focus on quality rather than quantity will provide you, our guest, with a truly memorable experience.
